Program Summary

Mozart wrote his piano concerto in d minor in 1785 with himself leading and playing from the piano. Presently it has become one of his beloved piano concertos of all time.

Stephanie Onggowinoto is a name that we are already familiar with in Indonesia. Graduated from the Royal College of Music in London, Stephanie is both a fine soloist as well as a chamber music performer.
She will be performing this concerto with the Jakarta Simfonia Orchestra conducted by Thanapol Setabrahmana.

Thanapol will be making his conducting debut with the JSO in November.
The second half of the concert is none other than Dvorak Symphony No. 8, and it is one of Dvorak’s famous compositions outside of the New World Symphony.

Come join us to celebrate the beauty of nature and composition through Mozart and Dvorak.
